At Norman Sims Elementary (Austin Independent School District (AISD) )centers its academic focus on core curriculum foundations including literacy, whole-child development, and technology integration, while executing an 18-month academic framework aligned with the Effective Schools Framework to drive student achievement and address state accountability standards.

We are focused on strong Tier 1 Instruction - universal learning for all  academics and behavior. We are focused on high quality classroom instruction ,clear directions, modeling , guided practice. In addition blending learning and small group instruction will support the needs of all learners.
