Welcome to Norman-Sims, where we provide free Pre-K programs for both 3 and 4 year olds, supported by the district.
Our partnership with HeadStart/ Child Inc. allows us to offer full-day care and learning for our Pre-K 3 classes. Our Pre-K curriculum is designed to nurture language skills, problem-solving, independent thinking, and a sense of responsibility and self-control. To be eligible for pre-K at Norman and Sims, a child must be 3 years old on or before September 1 of the school year, live in the district, and their family must meet certain income requirements. Please call or stop by the main office for more information
Registration for Pre-K at Norman-Sims Elementary begins in early April. Please be aware that spaces are limited, so it is important to register your child as soon as possible to secure their place. Here's what you'll need to bring:
- Official birth certificate
- Up-to-date immunization record
- Current proof of income
- Current proof of residence
- Parent/guardian picture ID
