Hello Families,

Welcome to all of our newly enrolled families, and hello again to those returning! We’re working long hours here at Norman-Sims Elementary to ensure everything is ready to go for the first day of school. Our teachers return to the building next week, and we can’t wait to see their smiling faces as we dive into classroom and building decorating, lesson planning, and all the training needed to make sure our team is fully prepared for your children.

I’m forwarding the same information I shared a few weeks ago, with just one update: Ms. Karla is back in the building! If you’re waiting to register - don’t wait any longer! As we get closer to the start of school, things get busier for all of us. As we’ve done in previous years, we will not be enrolling students in the first few hours on the first day of school. 

Our priority on that day is to ensure a smooth and safe start to the school year. Please help us spread the word if you know any families still waiting to enroll.

As we prepare for the start of the school year, here are a few important reminders:

Please note that all students will need tennis shoes daily. While we do not require uniforms at Norman-Sims, students must follow the AISD dress code.

Pre-K Enrollment

We are still enrolling for our full-day Pre-K3 program. We also have a few more spots left in PreK4. Both PreK programs are free for families who qualify. Help us spread the word to neighbors and friends.
