You may have noticed that many stores are already setting up their "Back to School" sections full of school supplies. August 20th is the first day of school - still plenty of summer left!

Before you go out and purchase anything, I want you to know that Norman-Sims Elementary has been selected to be the recipient of Office Depot "Start Proud" initiative. This means that every incoming student at Norman-Sims will receive a brand new backpack full of all their school supplies! 

Office Depot is going to set up each student with everything they need to be successful in school, so don't stress about the long shopping list of school supplies. We're so excited to be one of the few schools in the nation to be selected for this. As we get closer to August I'll share more ways in which they are going to help us celebrate our campus. They have some fun surprises that they'll be delivering throughout the year.
